Beta tester guide
How to test Kept safely — start short, confirm safety release, then explore.
Kept is a private, consent-based keyholding platform for adults. You create timed sessions, agree release rules, optionally assign a trusted keyholder or bounded automation, and keep a clear, timestamped record of every change.
Kept coordinates timers, unlock codes, logs, and communication. It does not physically control any device.
What private beta means
Core safety, privacy, and session systems are still being reviewed. Some features are experimental, and things may change. Your feedback directly shapes what ships.
What to try
- Short basic sessions
- Generating and redeeming unlock codes
- Emergency / safety release (in a separate short test)
- Keyholder invites and permissions
- Deck Mode, Blind Mode, automation — once basics work
What to avoid at first
- Long sessions before core flows are verified
- Serious use before testing safety release
- Sharing sensitive personal details in feedback
- Relying on experimental modules for anything important
Safety release always stays available
The session owner keeps an emergency safety release at all times. It can never be removed, delayed, or overridden by a keyholder, a bot, Blind Mode, or any module. Test it early.
Use the Report a bug button in the app menu, or the report control on a session or module. Pick a severity — including Safety concern or Privacy concern — so we can triage quickly.
Report confusing UI or timer issues immediately. Never include unlock codes or passwords.
